Business Career
Gizem received a B.A. in Business Administration from Istanbul Bilgi University, upon completing the last semester of her studies at IPAG Business School in France as part of the Erasmus Program.
After working at multiple international pioneer corporations both in Turkey and Europe, she continued her studies with a M.B.A. degree in Marketing from New York Hofstra University.
She continued to her professional career as a manager and a subject matter expert (SME) within PwC’s Financial Crime Technology Unit in New York. In that role, she advised a variety of clients, including FinTechs and Financial Institutions.
In her latest role, Vice President at Deutsche Bank, she led multiple global and high-profile programs for large scale and complex financial crime prevention technology implementations.
Gizem carries a unique combination of strong technical skills and extensive subject matter expertise with regulatory standards and practices from both the consulting and industry perspectives.
Her work in this field led to her being honored with the 40 Under 40 award from Long Island Business News in 2019.
Music Career
Gizem started playing classical piano at a young age, and performed as a singer at Saint_Benoît French High School's band and choir.
She took her successful music career to the next level by receiving vocal education from both Turkiye's prominent vocal coaches, and
Berklee College of Music.
Currently, she performs at music venues and various events,
she provides event management services,
she gives private vocal and piano lessons for all age groups,
and she teaches music at New York Cumhuriyet Okulu.
